Pay rate $17.
Full-time 4 day schedule in our dental office in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. (No Weekends)
Rural Health Group is seeking a DA I or DA II for a full-time position for our Roanoke Rapids dental clinic.
Please note that this is a clinical position – this is NOT an administrative assistant position.Details surrounding requirements of DAI are below.

The company pays a significant amount towards medical insurance premium. We also offer a 403(b) retirement plan, with a company contribution that starts after 2 years of service.

Requirements for DA I-
  • Dental Assistant experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a potentially stressful environment.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding when carrying out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective, professional relationships with patients, providers, coworkers, and superiors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Able to work independently; excellent teamwork skills.
  • Possess knowledge of modern office equipment, Microsoft Office software programs, and ability to efficiently learn Dentrix practice management system
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, use computer keyboard and perform light lifting. Extensive use of hands; manual dexterity is a requirement.
  • CPR certification – training will be provided after hire if candidate is not already certified.
  • Successful completion of background check required before an offer of employment can be made.
  • All offers of employment are contingent upon passing post-offer, pre-hire drug screen.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required. Applicants who may serve in a translating capacity will be required to take a language assessment.
EOE. Federal and State Criminal Background Checks and Drug Screen required for all positions. Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations are a condition of employment.
